Health Care Training Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our healthcare professionals.
- Training Program Development:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs.
- Design and create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, and hands-on activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure training materials are current and relevant.
- Training Delivery and Facilitation:
- Conduct training sessions for healthcare professionals, utilizing a variety of training methods and techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback and coaching to enhance the learning experience and promote continuous improvement.
- Training Needs Assessment:
- Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
- Collaborate with department managers to identify specific training needs for their teams.
- Analyze training evaluation data to identify areas for improvement and adapt training programs accordingly.
- Compliance and Regulatory Training:
- Ensure all healthcare professionals are trained and compliant with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Develop and deliver training on topics such as HIPAA compliance, infection control, and patient safety.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulations and update training materials accordingly.
- Training Administration:
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications.
- Manage the learning management system (LMS), including course scheduling, enrollment, and reporting.
- Coordinate external training resources and partnerships, when necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Training Manager or similar role in the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Proficient in instructional design principles and multimedia training tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
